Hi. My name is ANYA. Actually, my full name is "Princess Anya Mama's Snow Angel Marston McGregor". She also calls me "Boo-Boo Bear" "Baby Bear" and other cute stuff - ANYA means "Grace" in Russian. This is my diary/journal of my life in my new home with my new Mommy.

AND ANOTHER TRAINING COLLAR BITES THE DUST!
I did not like the HOLT collar, or the GENTLE LEADER, or the 2 HARNESSES Mommy tried on me - but I do like the chain collar - it doesn't hurt me and it isn't around my snout, which I really hated. I have so much fur, that it doesn't pinch me - and it is strong enough not to break - and I don't complain about it - and I can go for more walks with Mommy now and she doesn't worry about me breaking it like the old ones did (I chewed some of them because I didn't like them - but don't tell Mommy).

I got a new training collar and new doggie school
AND I DON'T LIKE IT (yet) - well, I am getting used to it. Mommy got a "Holt" training collar for me - because I still pull too much and it hurts her hands (arthritis) - it will take some time getting used to the thing around my snout - but as long as I can walk with Mommy, I guess it will be okay.
Mommy also found a new doggie training school for me - one that has a lot of fun things to do and doggies to play with - we haven't started yet - but will be soon.
Here's the link to the new school I will be going to with Mommy:
Two Bears Doggie School
Mommy says that they use the same training methods that Daisy had many years ago - if it's good enough for Daisy, it's good enough for me!

Summer's almost over!
Been a busy summer - spending time with Mommy and now, my big bubba Tony, who moved back home with us to go to College. I also have my little bubba, Momo, back, who went to stay with his cousin for a few months. Cheyenne is still my sweet little sister - and she likes to play "peek-a-boo" in boxes.
Summer is almost over - but the fun isn't - we plan to go camping again soon - not sure where yet.
Mommy took me to the top of big mountains on Trail Ridge Road at Rocky Mountain National Park - she will post pics soon.
Here are a few pics:

Momo, taking a nap (I can tell he's glad to be back home)

MY FIRST CAMPING TRIP!
June 25-26, 2011
I went on my first camping trip with Mommy - we went up the Poudre Canyon along the Poudre River and spent the night at Ranger Lakes in Colorado State Forest. My big brother Jake, Rachel and Shugga went went us.
I had a great time - when we got back, we all took a long nap.

HIKING IN THE FOREST!
I had a wonderful day with Mommy hiking in Roosevelt National Forest - first we stopped along the St. Vrain River and took some pics - then Mommy found a trail at Roosevelt National Forest along Boulder County Road 47 that has a mountain view and lots of trees - the trail went down in the woods and I had a lot of fun - I was also very pooped when I got home and needed a bath.

It's Summer!
Been very busy lately - working on my commands with Mommy and taking walks by the pond. I am slowly getting better at walking. Still have a little trouble staying away from the kitty, but am improving. She is getting used to me.
I love playing with my toys. Haven't had any potty accidents in a long time.
I am a year old now and going through some changes - Mommy said it's like having a toddler and a teenager all at once. But, she loves me anyway.
Here's me playing with my bone with my best friend Shugga - Cheyenne (the kitty) is on the back of the sofa (Mommy had to put a blanket on the sofa to keep my dog hair off)
Here we are watching TV - Mommy thought it was cute that we are all looking at it at the same time
Here I am pooped out after playing with my toys
This is the park Mommy takes me for walks every day
