It's Summer!

Been very busy lately - working on my commands with Mommy and taking walks by the pond. I am slowly getting better at walking. Still have a little trouble staying away from the kitty, but am improving. She is getting used to me.

I love playing with my toys. Haven't had any potty accidents in a long time.

I am a year old now and going through some changes - Mommy said it's like having a toddler and a teenager all at once. But, she loves me anyway.

OH, BOY, UPSET TUMMY AGAIN

Ate something I shouldn't have again - gave me a tummy ache - Mommy didn't feel so well after she cleaned up my messy crate, either. AND, I cried a lot last night because my tummy really hurt - Mommy didn't get much sleep and she has dark circles under her eyes today.

Guess it's part of learning to be a "big doggie" - I'm still a puppy, although I my one year birthday is coming up. My body is still a baby, but my mind wants to be a BIG DOGGIE.

On a GOOD NOTE - I graduate from basic obedience school this Sunday (May 22) and will start intermediate school soon. Hopefully, I will learn more about how to "not" eat things off the ground soon. I am getting better at walking with Mommy - she's very happy about that!

My bubba cat, Momo, went to live with Mommy's niece - he's getting older and likes to be by himself alot - at least he's not far away, so we can come visit.

My sissy cat, Cheyenne, is still here and she's getting used to me. Sometimes She will touch my nose and other times we will sit by each other. I am glad she likes me. We even watch TV together sometimes (even though I don't really understand what's going on, it's fun to watch all the colors)

DOGGIE SCHOOL UPDATE - 05/10/2011

ALMOST DONE!

One more class and I graduate from beginner and will start intermediate school! This will be good for Mommy and me, and we will be able to do more things together. I know Mommy loves me, and I love her too. I want to be a good doggie.

Let's see, I learned how to obey some commands like "sit" "stay" "down" "shake" [Mommy made that one up for me], "come" "leave it" and "drop it"

In the intermediate class, I will learn more things like how to walk by Mommy's side and not run off - she REALLY wants me to learn that one!

I had a "blow-out" in my crate yesterday - something I ate upset my tummy. I was afraid Mommy would be mad at me for messing in my crate and I cried, but she wasn't mad. She gave me a nice bath and rubbed my tummy for me. She's such a good mommy. I don't remember what I ate, but I hope I don't do that again!

WUFF WUFF - DOGGIE SCHOOL UPDATE - 05/01/2011

Beginner Doggie School is almost over - I know all of my old commands and now am learning how to walk by Mommy's side and stay close - it's hard for me because I want to run, but I am learning. Mommy said I am doing very good.

We went on a hiking trip with my new BFF Shugga and my big bro Jake, Rachel, and cousin Elisha - first we went to something called "Lost Gulch" at the very top of a mountain in Boulder - I don't know whey they call it Lost, because we found it with no problem!

After that we went to Magnolia Trail in Nederland - That was my favorite place because it has lots of SNOW!

I'M A SNOW DOG! 04/24/2011

Mommy took me to the mountains for the first time and I got to play in the snow! Mommy said I am a snow dog by nature - she was right - when I saw the snow - I jumped and played for a long time - I LOVE THE SNOW!

Here are some pics of our hiking trip to Lyons Gulch at Roosevelt National Forest and Rocky Mountain National Park. I can't go on the trails at RMNP - but I can play around the picnic areas where all the snow is! We saw Bighorn Sheep and Elk - I don't know what they were - but they were bigger than me!

Doggie School Rocks! 04/17/2011

WUF-WUF

had a lot of fun with my Mommy today at Doggie School - I showed my teacher how good I am at my homework commands - and I got to learn new ones - now I know sit, shake, lay down, leave it, and drop it - also getting better at walking with Mommy and not pulling all the time.

ALL IS GOOD IN DOGGIE WORLD!

Training Progress and Almost Kitty Progress - 04/12/2011

WUFF WUFF!

Making progress with the kitties - they are slowly becoming not afraid of me - they will now stay in the same room with me - but still won't let me get too close - AND, the boy kitty slept close by me all night - but not too close - Mommy stayed between us.

Won't be long they will let me play with them!

Definitely progressing in my puppy training - I go to the door when I need to go outside to potty - and I have the "lay down" command down all the time now - Mommy is really proud of me!
